Appointed personnel also include the Health Director, Public Health Nurse and the Departmental Assistant.
The Board of Health conducts various health screenings and immunization programs, communicable disease surveillance, community education, tests water at beaches, checks on adherence to sanitary regulations at establishments selling food and drink and inspects tanning salons. Inspects all installations of sewage disposal systems also is responsible for beaver information. Listings available: Local Title V Inspectors, Septic Installers, Septic Haulers, Sanitary Engineers, Soil Evaluators.
The Board of Health also works on control and management of hazardous material and implementation of mosquito control in the town. | | | | |
